Abstract This paper explains some design and architecture decisions around the GEODNET network GeoDAO decentralized autonomous organization, which aims to create operate a truly public GNSS reference sensing network. covers motivation of network, capabilities current future stations, blockchain GEOD token mechanics, how powers applications ranging from climate change monitoring real-time centimeter-accurate positioning.
